Consider the work of the Office of Disability Services and how it has been affected by the pandemic. Examine the patterns of responsibility and interaction between the office, undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty. Identify any perceived issues that might impact ODS’s mission to provide and maintain equal opportunity and access across the University, and potential strategies to support their work.

CALL TO ORDER, DETERMINATION OF A QUORUM, AND CHAIR’S REPORT – Adrienne Simonds, Chair
Chair Simonds called the meeting to order at 1:11 p.m. She gave an overview of the meeting agenda, and announced that the January, February, and March Senate meetings will be held remotely via Zoom. She acknowledged Senator Joe Markert, who is retiring at the end of the month after more than 50 years of service to Rutgers. She wished all senators a happy holiday season and a healthy new year.

President Holloway provided the Administrative Report consisting of the following topics:

- Distinguished Professor John Keene’s collection Punks: New & Selected Poems won the National Book Award for Poetry
- Update on admissions

President Holloway then answered questions on the following topics:
