REPORT ON UNIVERSITY FINANCES – Jonathan Holloway, President and University Professor
President Holloway then answered questions on the following topics:
- Adjunctification of the faculty
- Concerns about the accuracy of financial data
- Examples of duplicative processes proposed for elimination
- Research spending for graduate students
- Sexual assaults on campus
- The future of PTLs at the university
- Increasing the endowment
- Response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

By unanimous consent, one item of new business was added to the agenda:
A motion to refer the following charge to the Budget and Finance Committee: “Investigate and make recommendations on public declarations of conflicts of interest by politically exposed persons at Rutgers, including all members of the BoG and all those involved in significant financial decision making.”
The motion to refer this item to the Budget and Finance Committee was adopted.
