Charge
Initially MOOC offerings concentrated on subjects such as Math, Computer Programming, and other areas that focus on developing technical and professional skills that can be assessed relatively easily online, and on general enrichment courses. As institutions have scrambled not to be left off the fast-moving MOOC bandwagon, offerings have expanded to include a wide variety of courses, often being taught by senior faculty.
