Chair Simonds called the meeting to order at 1:12 p.m.

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT – Prabhas Moghe, Executive Vice President, Academic Affairs

EVPAA Moghe provided the Administrative Report consisting of the following topics:

• Rutgers Office for Research’s new Research Core Services policy
• Rutgers Office for Research Community Involvement in Research Training
• Research grants and awards
• Teaching awards
• Rutgers-New Brunswick Chancellor Challenge cluster on data science and artificial intelligence
• Rutgers-Newark named Fulbright Hispanic-Serving Institution Leader
• Disability Studies minor created at Rutgers-New Brunswick and in development at Rutgers-Camden
• Educational Equity and Excellence Collaborative (E3C) hosted Rutgers Summit on Student Success on Oct. 25
• Doctor of Nursing Practice students’ community engagement with public school students in Camden
• Building an Inclusive Academy: Diversity Plan Progress Summit held on Nov. 15

OLD BUSINESS

50.1.13 Policy on Policies

A motion was made to add this to the Executive Committee’s agenda for its next meeting. This motion was adopted.

Communications to the University Community

A motion was made to have Chair Simonds request to President Holloway that an email from the University Senate containing notification of the Resolution of Support for Striking Nurses at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick and of a survey and meeting concerning increases to tuition and fees be released to the University community. This motion was adopted.
